Oh hey... a new gamOH GOD WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN

It seems as though I'm missing out on something. Something so immensly popular that it warrants spending real money on in game content; tracks, cars and the such. By now, you probably already know what game I'm talking about, and that game is Gran Turismo.



Personally, I never got into the whole racing game thing, it just never really appealed to me. Yeah, I played some burnout, need for speed and maybe a bit of full auto, but I never really got into it. After hearing some pretty good things about the newest installment(5), I went on a journey through the tubes to see what I could find.





What I found completely caught me by surprise. Yeah, I knew people paid money for this stuff, but the fact that I found this completely threw me for a loop.




This little monster is going to set you back a cool $500 to use. This wheel, made by Thrustmaster, is a wheel/pedals peripheral that gives you 100% control 100% of the time. With this newest installment, I'd expect it to be nothing short of a perfect experience. At least, at its current price, I'd hope it was. This addon isn't for the casual, not by any means, and the price easily backs this up. So, if you have the cash, go for it, if you don't... well, looks like you're sticking with the good ol' controller, arent you? We're going to be getting more info on this thing when CES roles around this January.





Oh... did I forget to mention that the H pattern shifter is going to cost you more. So, if you thought you MIGHT want to buy this thing, you might want to think again.
